GLAAD Art Auction

Last night I attended the GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Art Auction where I donated my Half-Drag portrait of Heid Glüm to help raise money for the organization. I’m happy to say that the photo, which was a signed open edition 12×18″ print sold for $800. This was $200 more than the value that i placed on the piece. The was was a silent auction and the bidding was hot and heavy during the last 15 minutes with 3 prospective buyers battling down to the wire. I was pleased that I was able to help raise money for a great cause.
