Mr. President

To celebrate Pride London 2014 Mr. President, an advertising agency in London used some of my burlesque portraits to create an eyecatching exhibit that featured presidents of the world in some of gay prides boldest costumes. In their words “The retouched images were hung in our windows overlooking Soho Square and featured President Putin in a small pair of leather pants, President Hollande in a cheeky little rubber number and President Merkel flashing her bits whilst doused in pearls. President Obama, he opted for a rather more sensible all in one sequinned blue spandex rabbit outfit”.

I recently shot this portrait at a bowing alley in Times Square, NYC. It’s lit with a small soft box mounted on to a speedlight rigged up to a monopod. Down and dirty but effective.
