I shot this portrait on the boardwalk at Coney Island, NY one of the areas hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. I saw Simone hanging out on the boardwalk and although she wasn’t wild about the idea of having her portrait shot, I was persuasive and talked her into it. That’s the old parachute jump in the background.
