My Work in Calcco

I found this article by chance today through a Facebook notification on a Spanish visual communication publication. With the help of Google Translate I was able to actually read it as my high school Spanish left me years ago. It covers many of my projects including Half-Drag, Neo-Burlesque, Urbanscapes, Women of Fifth Avenue, and Scapes.  Nicely done . . .

I was on vacation last week in my Upstate NY home where i spend a lot of time fly fishing for wild Brown Trout right outside my front door. I shot this with my iPhone just before I left the water. There’s something about casting for trout during the magic hour that can’t be described. I’ll let this photo do the talking . . .

Winter Tree

One of my favorite things is winter trees. I love being able to see their branches and the texture. I shot this in upstate NY on the banks of the West Branch of the Delaware River River. I converted to black and white using Topaz software to eliminate all distractions which I think helps to focus on the form and the detail.

While driving upsate NY a couple of weeks ago I saw this beautiful scene and had to capture it. Simple with strong lines, just the way i like it.
