This shot was just named as a winner in the 2017 International Color Awards. I shot this on Thanksgiving eve a few years ago. The family was attending the annual blowing up the balloons event before the Thanksgiving Day parade. One of my personal faves.

Woman in green from my Underground NYC series. People in subways

Another goodie from the NYC subway system. To me this image illustrates the beauty of photography. Most people would never really see this but as viewed through a camera the viewer is forced to deal with disparate elements.

Another interesting observation on the NYC subways. Captured on my iPhone and processed with Snapseed. I’d love to know what’s on that kid’s mind . . .

This is the latest in my new series On The Subway. I love those off beat, strange and random expressions. Shot on m y iPhone and processed using Snapseed.

Every day in NYC I see something that catches my eye, not always pleasant but usually real and often moving. In this case as soon as I hit the subway platform it’s bam, right in my face. After I snapped the photo the gent on the end said something really nasty to me but hey, I gotta do what I gotta do.
