During the month of November, 2020 I shot outdoor natural light portraits of 25 people in 22 days for Getty Images.  The autumn colors worked for me with my out of focus backgrounds.

My image of Jim from my Hardhat Series was just awarded a silver in the Fabrik Portrait of America Awards. The image will be on exhibit a the Fabric Projects Gallery in Los Angeles  from 11/23-12/14  and published in a Winners book. Shot on 5th Avenue and 30th street in NYC.

I originally shot this portrait in color eleven years ago for Getty Images. I just rediscovered it and was curious to see what it would look like in black and white. Using Topaz software I made the conversion and really am pleased with the results. I just entered this into Lens Culture’s Black and White Awards.
